Research interest and accomplishment:
Prof. Zou received his PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2006. Following a postdoctoral position at Umea University, he was appointed as a Director’s Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory in 2007. After working in Los Alamos for 4 years, Dr. Zou joined in Soochow University as a “Jiangsu Specially-Appointed Professorship”. Currently, his research focuses on inorganic thin films and emerging materials (including 2D materials, perovskite, superconducting, etc.) for energy conversion, and potential industrial application in the field of photovoltaics and photoelectronics. Up to now, he has published more than 140 peer-reviewed papers and 12 authorized patents, two of which being transferred to industry.
